Dr. Debarati Saha has done her graduation (MBBS) from R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata (University of Calcutta) in 2005. She completed her post graduation (MS) in Ophthalmology from G R Medical College, Gwalior (Jiwaji University) in 2010. After that she pursued her dream to do a fellowship from prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, in Comprehensive ophthalmology and Ophthalmic plastic surgery which she completed in 2013.
After 13 years of medical studies she joined as a Oculoplasty Consultant in C L Gupta Eye Institute, Moradabad and worked there for 3 years (Dec 2013 to Nov 2016), handled numerous patients and did more than 1000 oculoplastic surgeries. Then she came to Orissa and joined KIMS, Bhubaneswar as Oculoplasty Consultant and worked there for more than 2 years (Feb 2017 to May 2019). Finally she started her own eye clinic in the name of Nayonika Eye Care in April 2019 at Baramunda, Bhubaneswar.
She is a skillful eye surgeon and meticulous physician.
Dr. Debarati has more than 10 publications in the national and international peer reviewed ophthalmic journals.
She is an invited faculty of Oculoplasty fraternity in many regional, national and international conferences & meets.
Presently Dr. Debarati is a reviewer of Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (Oculoplasty division).
